bastille day, brooklyn-style
Today is Bastille Day! If you missed last Sunday's Alliance Française block party in Manhattan, you can still celebrate with all your favorite Francophiles en plein air* in Brooklyn. According to Flavorpill there's a party on Smith Street in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens this Sunday, July 18 starting at 11am-10pm at Bar Tabac! "Bar Tabac’s annual Bastille Day celebration will feature live music, a pétanque tournament" and lots of Frenchie food and drink. Sounds delicious. Hint: if you want to practice your pétanque skills before Sunday, head on over to Bryant Park today where they give free lessons. It's totally fun.
Q: So whatcha gonna wear to the Bastille Day party?
