One57, the incredibly luxury high-rise apartment with the 90 million dollar penthouse -- you know the one -- going up on W57th Street near Carnegie Hall and Central Park, is now the cause of upscale apartment evacuations and indefinite road closures to cars and pedestrians. Super scary Sandy wind gusts caused a compromise to this massive construction crane, said to be 75 floors up. With wind gusts above 50 mph, it is too dangerous to secure. Unbelievable.
