feeling puckish?
The coolest uncool thing to hit Brooklyn this month is the Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, which opened officially unofficially on February 19 in Gowanus. We are still waiting to hear how much it costs to play (and hoping it's affordable!), so we'll keep you posted. But for now, you can you can shuffle for FREE late-night Monday and Tuesday after league play (10pm-12am).
Be sure to check out their Instagram for up-to-date updates. Oh, and don't call it a puck. It's a biscuit. Go figure. [images via Royal Palms]
***UPDATE, February 27
So here are all the particulars straight from the RPSC:
"The Royal Palms is a walk-in shuffleboard club and courts are rented for $40/hr on a first come first served basis. Mondays and Tuesdays are set aside for league nights, but all other times we're available for everyone to come in and play. A limited amount of reservations are accepted for parties of 10 or more through our events department. Details can be found here: http://www.royalpalmsshuffle.com/parties/"
