While I'm on the topic of skateboards, I thought I would call this little number to your attention. Can you imagine carrying around your Stephen Sprouse designer skateboard in its Louis Vuitton carrying case? What outfit would you wear? What would the kids at the skate park think? I guess you'd have to have to bust out some extra-cool Old School moves to compensate for your flashy New School gear.

By the way, this week, the Louis Vuitton boutique on SoHo’s Greene Street will be transformed into a Sprouse destination for the new Stephen Sprouse collection debut. Sprouse was big in the 80s and was known for his graffiti art and fashion design. Check out these video tributes to learn more about the designer. There also will be a simultaneous event at nearby Deitch Projects (the Wooster Street location) for the opening of the Rock on Mars Sprouse retrospective this evening. Now that I would like to see.
