If you are planning to be at the MAGIC Show in Las Vegas next week, you must stop by Minus 5 for a cooling refreshment. Minus 5, a pretty novel "ice lounge" chain from New Zealand, opened recently at the Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip. No need to ask for your drink on the rocks here! Your glass, the bar, the room itself, and even the stools, are made of ice!

Remember, you are not just getting a drink, you are getting an experience. Or at least that is the way you should think of your time at Minus 5. A 30-minute visit costs $30 and includes one drink in the bar which is chilled to minus five degrees Celsius (around 23 degrees Fahrenheit). Well that is chilly. Don't worry. Minus 5 provides the parkas.
