cinco de mayo was very "ok!"

Bethenny Frankel signing a copy of her book, Naturally Thin,
to a fan at the OK! magazine offices yesterday.

Bethenny Frankel's New York Times Bestseller, Naturally Thin.
We all got a free book. (I am now on page 45.) Good stuff!

Perhaps I should have read the book before I ate two of these...
I could have practiced my new techniques:
Chapter 2: "You Can Have it All, Just Not All at Once"
Well, maybe next time.

And what a yummy food spread it was.

We had a surprise treat for Cinco de Mayo yesterday. OK! magazine (you may have seen our Dollhouse ads running in OK! over these many years) invited us to their offices for a party at the end of the afternoon. How nice. After just a brief walk up Sixth Avenue, we were there, taking part in the merriment, the delicious spread of Mexican food, and soaking up the featured celebrity: Bethenny Frankel. Yes, the very person from the hot reality show on Bravo, The Real Housewives of New York City. And she was so sweet. And funny! And yes, quite thin.

Did you know Bethenny was also a featured player on the Martha Stewart Apprentice show? Bethenny is a super-active busy go-getter, to say the least. Not only is she debuting a new product called The Skinnygirl Margarita, she also did a fab fashion photo spread for OK! magazine (including a bikini spread. see issue #14, May 4, 2009), and wrote a book called Naturally Thin (currently a New York Times Bestseller!! way to go Bethenny!). In between taping episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny runs her own natural foods company called BethennyBakes, is a monthly columnist for Health magazine, and is a natural foods chef with celebrity clients. That is a full plate, to say the least. BTW, did you watch the season finale of Housewives last night?

Bethenny's "Naturally Thin" advice when you arrive at a party:
survey the spread before you dive in. Select only your favorites,
and just have small tastes. Enjoy them fully. Then go talk to friends.
