in dumbo, oh no

Post-Sandy images are dramatic, but if you know these places, not so fun to look at. The recently-restored beautiful antique carrousel in DUMBO is, on a good day, eerily aglow in a modern plexi box on the rocky banks of Brooklyn, just under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges.
