And delicious. The other day at Dollhouse, we got to try the most delicious pistachio honey baklava -- what a treat! I can't stop thinking about it.

I love the idea of serving everything in a wreath-shape this holiday season. Wouldn't it be cool to serve sandwiches in a wreath shape? You'd just have to find the bread somewhere, and serve it on a festive plate. Maybe garnish with pine branches or something cool.

Maybe we want to think sweet thoughts over the weekend. Well, whatever the reason, let's talk cookies this Friday. Are you baking a lot? Do you have no idea of what to bake? Are you looking for new cookie ideas? Check out this festive candy-cane-style cookie that is so pleasing to the eyes, and kinder on the hips. It's meringue. That's pretty much 0 calories. Right? Have you checked out the Rockefeller tree yet? We hear it's pretty gigantic. Here are some fun facts: The tree used to live in Pennsylvania. In a front yard. We think it enjoyed a happy and peaceful existence. The tree lived to be quite old. Does anyone know it's exact age? I heard it was 75 years old. 75. That's a pretty old tree.

The height of the Norway Spruce is 74 feet tall. It was installed for everyone's merriment on November 30. That was a Wednesday. You can see it too. At Rockefeller Center, right near ice skating rink. Between 5th/6th Avenues. Between 48th/50th Streets. Tell us what you think of the 30,000 lights. The environmentally friendly LED lights.

Free Skate is in full swing at Bryant Park, which is, by the way, just three blocks away from Dollhouse HQ. Yup, we're pretty lucky that way. We can keep our skates under our desk and go skating at lunch. Oh, and did we mention, there is a certain giant chocolate chip cookie that we've been coveting at one of the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park? The cookie costs five dollars. I mean that's quite a New York mark-up. But what the hay. 'Tis also the season to spend all your money. And eat too many sweets.

'tis the weekend!

'Tis not exactly the season for eating frozen things, but then again... The frozen custard at Shake Shack (in Madison Square Park, that's the original and best location) is worth freezing for. Just keep moving while you eat. That's the trick. Seems like they have some pretty great flavors this month!
