Well this is certainly interesting. According to this article (click through for pictures), NYPD schedules their best-looking cops to watch over Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, which ends today, so as not to be outdone by the fabulous crowd. "They are part of the scene, part of the culture," said photographer, Eric Winton who was shooting for a street style magazine. So true. It is quite a scene.

We love the black and white chevron print! It looks so great against the hot pink. Perhaps we'd love it more if it were silver sparkle instead of gold. But then again, it depends on what accessories you wear to tie in the nails. Have you noticed how much nail art there is on Pinterest? A lot. Yup, this is from Pinterest.

Yesterday, we weren't much in the mood to Facebook or blog. We found this photo today on Instagram. And thought it would be nice to post. It seems like it's done in chalk. Short-lived. Somehow it seems like a nice type of memorial. A (comparatively) short-lived moment in our everyday life that we will remember forever.
