Last year around this time, I had a hankering for a pumpkin muffin... After a city-wide search, stopping in every deli and bakery within a 40-block radius (I kid you not), I came up with nothing. Until yesterday!

Found: pumpkin muffins (organic!) at Pain Quotidien near Bryant Park. Price: $2.60
